OUR MISSION

The Heart Care Foundation, Comilla, Bangladesh. helps people to achieve a longer and better life through prevention and control of heart disease and stroke, with a focus on our locality and the rural areas of our Country. From the beginning beneficiaries are poor, distressed and underprivileged people of the locality and of the surrounding slums of the town. They are usually the people of all ages. They maintain their families by their day income. Some times these people came for their treatment by sold their family income source of assets. But they are failed to cover the cost of the treatment. They losses their money, assets and time for earn to their families. Our statistic information of data notices us that on 2020 36% people will die by the cause of Heart Disease and Stroke.


Body and soul cannot be separated for purposes of treatment, for they are one and indivisible. Sick minds must be healed as well as sick bodies.

OBJECTIVE

Save the people from the very beginning of the Cardiac problems and who are already suffering from cardiovascular disease. This can happen through social service first in the locality and then to the whole country. The organization: By the success of the previous initial project programs the ‘HCF, Comilla, Bangladesh’ was originally formed in the September, 2004 with the purpose of research, professional and public education, as well as community programs. The ‘HCF, Comilla, Bangladesh’ instigated on-going co-operation on different projects such as the prevention the risk factors of CVD in school-age children and a weekly heart camp in the local area. The ‘HCF, Comilla, Bangladesh’ is a local level, non profit and non political voluntary organization. This was initially setup slowly on a private initiative by the present director, project coordinator and their department staffs back in 2004.
